Scope and operator

Depending on the form or service, Kuwa Bora may collect parent or adult contact information; athlete name, age or grade, city, team or competitive level; goals, schedule, training history, court and equipment access; information a family voluntarily provides about injuries, health considerations, or accommodations relevant to safer coaching; payment and subscription status; form metadata such as timestamps, referral/UTM information, and technical anti abuse data; and consent or agreement records. Do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, full medical records, or unrelated sensitive documents.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries; evaluate coaching fit and group placement; build and adjust training; communicate with parents and athletes; coordinate enrollment, billing, ESA documentation where applicable, safety, records, and support; prevent misuse or fraud; and operate and improve Kuwa Bora services.
Minors
For minors, a parent or legal guardian should initiate assessment, enrollment, or inquiry and complete required participation documents before in person training begins. Kuwa Bora does not require a public athlete profile to receive coaching.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes online subscription and other card payments. Kuwa Bora does not receive or store full card numbers from Stripe Checkout. Kuwa Bora may also use hosting, email, form processing, analytics, coaching delivery, scheduling, storage, and ClassWallet/ESA related service providers as needed to operate the service. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Coaching platform data
Online clients may receive access to a third party coaching application for programming, communication, video, and progress tracking. Information a family submits through that platform is also subject to the platform provider’s privacy terms. Kuwa Bora uses coaching platform information only for service delivery, support, safety, and reasonable business administration.
Measurement and advertising
With optional marketing consent, Kuwa Bora may use analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand which campaigns create visits, assessments, checkouts, and enrollments. Kuwa Bora may retain first party attribution information such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers. Athlete assessment answers, injury or health information, and other sensitive coaching details are not intentionally sent to advertising platforms. Visitors may choose necessary only measurement when the preference notice is shown.
Partner referrals
If a visitor arrives through an approved Kuwa Bora Partner link, Kuwa Bora may store a first party referral code and associate a subsequent Online Coaching subscription with that Partner for discount and commission administration. Partner dashboards use anonymized customer references rather than athlete names or sensitive family records.
Communications
Kuwa Bora may email about assessments, enrollment, onboarding, coaching, payment, scheduling, and service updates. A parent who completes the Player Build may also receive a limited series of related education and enrollment follow up messages; those marketing messages include an unsubscribe mechanism and opting out does not end necessary transactional or service communications. Text messages are used when the parent or adult athlete has provided a phone number and where appropriate consent has been obtained.
Sharing
Kuwa Bora does not sell sensitive family or athlete records to advertisers. Information may be shared with service providers, training facilities, insurers, professional advisers, emergency responders, payment/ESA processors, or authorities when reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect safety, enforce agreements, or comply with law.
Retention and security
Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for coaching, payment, safety, legal, tax, dispute, and operational purposes. Kuwa Bora uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Parent access and requests
Parents, legal guardians, and adult athletes may contact Kuwa Bora to request reasonable access, correction, or deletion of information, subject to records Kuwa Bora must retain for legitimate legal, financial, safety, or contractual reasons. Footage is used for coaching.
Families may optionally provide viewable links to game film, skill video, or training footage. Kuwa Bora uses that material to evaluate and coach the athlete, build or adjust programming, and provide requested feedback. Families should share only footage they are authorized to provide. Kuwa Bora does not intentionally use private athlete footage for public marketing without separate permission.
Minors, parental consent, and safety
Kuwa Bora coaches athletes who are often under 18. A parent or legal guardian must complete enrollment for any minor, agrees to the Participation Agreement at onboarding, and is the account holder for all billing and formal communication.
Communication standards. Coaching communication with minors happens through the enrolled coaching channels the parent set up. Parents may request access to any coaching communication involving their athlete at any time. Coaches never initiate private social media contact with minor athletes.
Video and media. Families submit only footage they are authorized to share. Submitted video is used for coaching and player development. Kuwa Bora never publishes an athlete's image or name without separate written permission from the parent or guardian.
Health context. Injury and medical context collected at onboarding is used solely to program safely, is visible only to the assigned coach and Coach Hood, and is never sold or shared. Kuwa Bora coaching does not replace medical care.
Build results. Player Build results are delivered through private, expiring links and are never published. Result data for minors is delivered to the parent or guardian email.
